The new batch is up!
September 19th, 2011

I’ve posted the latest batch to the Gallery.

Chuck and I are absolutely thrilled how they turned out! Of course, he’s working full throttle on the next batch. He’s got a new and exciting model coming up in that batch, which should be out at about the end of the year.

Come on, Rich. Please don’t tease us. Spill the beans. What’s the new model coming up?

While my awful sense of humor makes me want to keep everybody guessing, I actually don’t know if Chuck wants to keep the details a secret or not. I’ll check with him, but it would probably be faster if you gave him a ring.

    OK!

A customer (initials I.F.) loves LP style guitars, but he doesn’t like the weight or the sharp edges, so he has asked for a contoured Legend Special.

Chuck designed a version with an arm cut, tummy tuck, and a concave back. We’re assembling two, because we made a spare body just in case.

There’s a sexy thinness and lightness about these bodies that feels utterly different from what I’m used to when picking up an LP style instrument. I don’t actually know how much lighter the finished guitar is going to be, but the difference is substantial.

Both of us can’t wait to try them out when they’re finished!

Good gosh almighty, I am a sucker for Honeyburst finished guitars.
This batch is swimming in them. Now I have brother and sister Honeyburst Legends for my daddy #239 honeyburst Legend :-)
I really like that Professional in Honeyburst, why it just ticles my whiskers.
Red worked real well for the BluesQueen also, but then I love my Improv, Big-Red.
What can we all say about the whole batch, not a bad actor in the bunch, never has been.
You guys just continue to produce what should recognized as some of the most masterful creations in guitardom.
Build them and they will come.. I heard that some where…
    Lou
