Harvesting a community of like-minded people. Build a better mouse trap, only in this case its a guitar. We all play different styles of music, yet we all agree on one thing; Chuck builds a fine guitar. Amazing how a guitar can handle so many different approaches. I've had my Blues Queen a year now, and I've never been happier or more impressed with the way she feels and sounds, aside from being beautiful as well. The new shop looks good, and looks like it will accomodate many a-new guitar. Kudos to Chuck, Rich and crew! Keep doing it!

Hey All,
I picked up my Honey Burst Classic at Chucks and have to tell you it is just a awesome guitar.
It is better in real life then the photos and it is a dream to play.
Everything everyone applauds Chuck for is totally accurate. Not only is he a master craftsman but he is a very gracious and humble man. Great, meeting with you Chuck and can't wait for the forth coming Blues Queen.

Chuck, the new shop is looking good though I know you have a lot to finish yet.
Take care and stay out of the snow drifts..

Chuck, I just wanted to say 3 things:
~ Big congrats on the new shop. I know it is going to be great to be able to work without having to leave home.
~ I'm lovin' my Bronze/Black/Gold Blues Queen (#186) more every day. That is the hardest guitar to put down I've ever owned. And, oh man, does it ever sound wonderful through that old Fender Deluxe Reverb I got recently. You really outdid yourself on this guitar. I've owned well over 100 guitars in the last 45 years, and I still cannot believe I own something so perfect, so awesome. It is at the top of my all time list.
~ To anyone surfing this site, you can believe the raves you read here and the important magazines about Chuck's guitars. He is building my 8th one right now. I've owned guitars that cost twice as much. They're gone now because not one compared to CPTs for craftsmanship and playability combined. What a value and what an investment. One day the entire world will know.....

Stay warm, buddy.

So great to see the photos of the new batch. Mine is #223. The photos are great but I know each guitar is even better in person.
Chuck I hope the transition to the new shop goes well. Especially beneficial will be a heater cause I can't see you working in a spray booth at 10deg below :-). Have a good Christmas can't wait to put my hands on my new Classic.

Best wishes Chuck,
Lou D.

A shout-out of thanks to the luther we admire so much, Chuck Thornton. Those of you who are browsing this site I invite you to call or write him if you are considering one of his instruments. I did. Now I hold #228. This beautiful Translucent Surf Green Classic was born from conversations seeking a very special t-style. Sure, she is gorgeous but she's smart, too. This guitar, like other CPT's I own delivers remarkable tone in a wonderfully built and easily playable instrument. Thanks to CP Thornton Guitars. My very best, Paul.
