Great interview, Chuck!! I could hear your voice in every word. Looks like the interviewer learned [among other things] that the Classic neck isn’t glued on. I’m with you on one thing for sure - picking a favorite model is about as difficult as picking your favorite child. They’re all great in their own special way. As a customer who has tried them all, I gotta say if I absolutely had to choose one model, it would be MOST difficult. The Classic is more versatile than I ever imagined - can’t put it down. The Fusion is… well, just a mindblower - hands down the best solid body I’ve ever played. The Professional does everything and truly deserves the #1 spot for the musician who plays all genres. But, there is something SO special about the Blues Queen that most days it would eek the others out. Talk about a fun guitar. It’s almost a maverick among the others, constantly surprising me in the most sonicly pleasing ways. That whole question made me imagine a scenario in which serious players could be driven absolutely insane by winning the CP Thornton model of his choice [price no object]. It could take him months to make a decision.
I’m really glad to see you getting more publicity now - you truly deserve it.
