Ordering from Cp Thornton Guitars
Cp Thornton Guitars sells to the public directly and, at the same price, through Destroy All Guitars.
If guitars are available for sale, they will be listed in our Guitars For Sale picture gallery. If the gallery is empty, we are sold out, as we often are, so check back again later. You may order a guitar or purchase an in stock guitar. We require a 50% deposit upon taking an order and the remainder upon completion. We will ship the guitar immediately upon receiving final payment (please read the terms that apply to refunds and returns below).
We take payment in cash, check, money order, PayPal and via credit card. Checks and money orders will be held until the funds clear.
Standard Shipping is UPS ground. Air and overnight shipping are available. Since shipping charges vary considerably for different areas of the country, we will quote shipping charges separately for each order.
Deposits are non-refundable until after the guitar is completed.
We have had a small number of customers who have asked for refunds of their deposits. Please understand that when we take a deposit, we immediately use that money to purchase the materials to build the guitar. Ours is a very small company, and there is no money in our cash flow for refund of the deposit after the purchase of materials.
If you can’t take the finished guitar, then we will sell the guitar to the public. When we are paid in full for the guitar, then we will refund your money, less any expenses incurred in selling the guitar and/or any difference in the final sale price of the guitar.
We will hold a finished guitar for up to 3 months pending final payment for a charge of $15 per month.
If You Need To Return the Guitar
Because we sell the guitars direct over the internet, the customer has not had the opportunity to inspect and play the instrument prior to purchase. Cp Thornton Guitars gives the purchaser three days to play and inspect the instrument.
If you are not satisfied with the guitar, please give me a phone call before returning the guitar for a for a refund of the purchase price, less shipping.
Cp Thornton Guitars reserves the right to charge the customer for any reconditioning required (in other words, try it, play it, enjoy it, love it, but please don’t scratch it).
